POCO M5 4G with Helio G99 SoC to launch in India soon – Times of India

Poco is all to expand its smartphone lineup with the launch of a new M-series smartphone. Poco took to Twitter to announce the launch of the new M-series smartphone.
Poco tweeted an image with the caption ‘M bringing sexy back’. Rumours suggest that the company may launch the Poco M5 4G smartphone. The tweet also suggests that the smartphone will be powered by the new MediaTek Helio G99 chipset.

The MediaTek G99 chipset will boost the gaming experience with industry-leading AI performance, vivid visuals, and rapid-sensing touchscreens, among others. The chipset is equipped with MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 Lite gaming technologies like Resource Management Engine 2.0, to ensure sustained performance with dynamic management of GPU, CPU, and memory, the Networking Engine 2.0 enables faster response and better connectivity to foster uninterrupted services.
The smartphone is expected to house an FHD+ display and run MIUI 12. Poco M5 4G is said to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery and comes with 33W fast charging support.

Poco recently launched the mid-range gaming smartphone Poco F4 5G in India. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 23,999 and it is available online on Flipkart.
Poco F4 5G comes with a 4,500mAh battery and 67W Sonic charging. The smartphone sports a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor and 2MP nanosensor and a 20MP front camera shooter for clicking selfies. The smartphone supports 4K recording at 60FPS and comes with Vlog Mode, Night Mode, Panorama, Long Exposure, Time-lapse, Slow motion among others.
