Poco M5 Flipkart page is live now ahead of September 5 launch: What to expect | Digit

Poco is going to launch Poco M5 in India on September 5. Ahead of the event, the Poco M5 Flipkart page has gone live. We get a look at its design and the underlying MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.

Poco M5 is coming to India on September 5 at 5:30 PM (IST). It could be accompanied by the Poco M5s. Either that or the company could decide to launch the M5s in China and bring just the regular M5 to our country. We think so because out of the two, we have the Poco M5 microsite up on Flipkart while the Poco M5s has reportedly appeared on the Chinese e-commerce site Aliexpress.

Poco M5 Specs and Features (Expected)

Poco could equip the M5 with a 6.58-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch on the front. The software inside could be Android 12 with MIUI skin. On the back, the device could sport a “chic-leather-like” finish. You may be able to pick it in Green, grey, and Yellow colors.

Inside, the Poco M5 could house a 5,000mAh battery supported by a 33W fast charger. The memory configuration on offer could be 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage.

Among other things, the Poco smartphone could also bring a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.

Meanwhile, the Poco M5s could come with a hole-punched panel, 3-color options (viz. grey, blue, and white), 4/6GB RAM, and 64/128GB storage.

That’s about it. A lot about the devices is yet to be known. But, we just need to wait for a few more days. Mark your calendars for September 7 which is when the two Poco smartphones are going to launch.
