Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has started extending the media invites for its upcoming flagship F series smartphone, according to a GSMArena report.
According to the report, Poco has scheduled a virtual event for April 26 at 5:30 pm. The event will be live-streamed on the official YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter.
At the event, the company will be launching its Poco F4 GT smartphone which will succeed last year’s Poco F3 smartphone.
While the company hasn’t revealed any other details related to the smartphone, leaks and rumours suggest that the smartphone will be a rebranded version of Redmi K50 Gaming. Also, the Poco F4 GT will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and will come with up to 12GB RAM.
Apart from that, the smartphone is likely to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of camera, it will get a triple rear camera setup which will include a 64MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor.
The handset is expected to be backed by a 4700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
As far as pricing is concerned, Poco hasn’t revealed anything about that. We will get to know when the company will officially announce the smartphone on April 27.
