With model number 22101320I, the Indian variant of the upcoming POCO X5 5G smartphone has been spotted on the BIS website and the IMEI database. In China, the smartphone may launch as a Redmi device with the model number 22101320C.

As per the FCC listing, the upcoming POCO X5 5G will sport a rectangular camera module design. It is likely to house a 4,900mAh battery, but the company may promote it as a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone will come with dual-band Wi-Fi support and will support the n5, n7, n38, n41, n77, and n78 5G bands. The POCO X5 5G will run MIUI 14 out of the box, implying that the phone could launch with Android 13 out of the box.

Meanwhile, other previous leaks about the smartphone indicate that the POCO X5 5G will feature an IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate support and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC.
