Last month Tecno launched the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone in Nigeria. At the time of the launch, the company did not reveal anything about the Indian availability of the device. Now, it looks like the smartphone will make its way into the Indian market soon. Tecno Mobile India has teased the launch of Tecno Pova Neo in India on Twitter. “Get ready to witness the #UltimatePowerPlay. POVA NEO Coming Soon.” the company Tweeted along with a short teaser video.
Although the company has not revealed any official details about the device, it is expected to feature the same specs as the model sold in Nigeria. In India, the Tecno Pova Neo is rumoured to be available in one single variant. Here are the specifications of the Tecno Pova Neo smartphone.

Tecno Pova Neo smartphone sports a 6.8-inch HD+ notched display with 720 x 1640 pixel density. The display comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and pixel density of 262ppi. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired. In Nigeria, the SoC is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. However, the smartphone is rumoured to get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the Indian market.
When it comes to camera, the device gets a dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary sensor. For selfie and video calls, the smartphone gets a 8MP camera at the front. The Tecno Pova Neo runs Android 11 based HiOS 7.6 operating system. The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. In Nigeria, the smartphone is available in three colour options – Geek Blue, Obsidian Black and Powehi.
