Chinese smartphone giant Oppo has added another smartphone to its budget A series for the domestic market. This new smartphone is named Oppo A36 and is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 680 processor and comes with a dual-camera setup in the rear. It will be available in a single 8GB RAM+256GB internal storage variant and will pack a 5000mAh battery.
Oppo A36 price and availability
The new Oppo A36 smartphone will be available in China with a price tag of CNY 1,599 (roughly around Rs 18,600). It is available for pre-booking on the online Oppo store in China and is available at a pre-sale offer price of CNY 1,499 (roughly around Rs 17,400). This new smartphone will start shipping in China from January 14 and will be available in two colour options — Qingchuan Blue and Qingchuan Blue
Oppo A36 key specifications
The new Oppo A36 smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display that supports a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display also has a hole-punch cutout at the top left corner for the front camera. The rear panel has a rectangular module that houses the dual camera setup and an LED flash. The dual cameras include a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP portrait camera sensor. The device also has an 8MP front shooter for video calls and selfies.
The Oppo A36 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 1TB with a microSD card. It runs on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 and packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.
Oppo recently launched the Oppo A16K in the Philippines which runs on the MediaTek Helio G35 processor and is expected to be launched in India soon.
