NEW DELHI: Samsung launched the much-awaited Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) smartphone in India on January 10. The smartphone is now up for sale in the country. Customers can purchase the smartphone online from Samsung.com and Amazon.in and offline from select retail stores.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is powered by an Exynos 2100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI 4.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes in two variants — 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 54,999 and Rs 58,999 respectively. The smartphone can be purchased in Olive, Lavender, White and Graphite colour options.

The HDFC bank customers can avail cashback of Rs 5,000 on both versions bringing down the price to Rs 49,999 for 128GB version and Rs 53,999 for the 256GB variant. Along with this, customers will also get a Galaxy SmartTag worth Rs 2,699 for free with the smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE specifications
Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The phone has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz in Game mode. It also features Eye Comfort Shield with AI-based blue light control.

The smartphone comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor.Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G comes in two variants — 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The handset will house a 4,500mAh battery. It will offer 25watt wired charging and 15watt wireless charging. The phone supports wireless powershare as well. The charger will be sold separately.

On the camera front, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE comes with a 12MP ultra-wide camera with F2.2 and 123˚ field-of-view. It is paired with a 12MP wide camera with F1.8 and an 8MP telephoto camera with 30x space zoom and F2.4 aperture. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP camera at the front with F2.2 aperture.

The smartphone runs on One UI 4 based on Android 12 operating system. It comes with an optical fingerprint sensor and has an IP68 rating. It is said to be water-resistant in up to 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
