Price, specs and other details of the company’s new 9 series phone

OnePlus 9RT has finally launched in India today. OnePlus launched the smartphone at Rs 42,999 onwards. The company had launched the phone in China in December last year and has been teasing its India launch since days now. The all-new OnePlus 9RT is an upgraded model of OnePlus 9R. The OnePlus 9R launched in India April 2021 at a starting price of Rs 39,999. The new OnePlus 9RT packs high-end features and is claimed to offer flagship performance. The new OnePlus 9 series phone takes on Samsung’s recently-launched Galaxy S21 FE and Xiaomi’s upcoming phone, Xiaomi 11T Pro.

OnePlus 9RT comes with a starting price of Rs 42,999. OnePlus 9RT comes in two colour options- Nano Silver and Hacker Black. OnePlus 9RT will go on sale during the upcoming Amazon Republic Day sale that starts January 17.

OnePlus 9RT is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core 5G chipset with Adreno 660 GPU. This is the same chipset that powers the company’s top-end OnePlus 9 series phones – OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. It is equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage capacity. The handset runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 operating system.

It is equipped with a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It’s an E4 Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and sRGB support. The phone’s display comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top. Other display features include HyperTouch 2.0, reading mode and a dedicated night mode.

OnePlus 9RT is backed by a 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 65T charging that can juice up the device from 0 to 100% in less than 30 minutes. For camera duties, the smartphone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization support. It is paired with a 16MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens. The phone is capable of recording 4K videos at 30/60 fps and 1080p videos at 30/60 fps.

At the front, the device has a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and electronic image stabilization. Connectivity features include dual band WiFi, Bluetooth version 5.2, GPS, 5G, LTE and more. The handset comes with indisplay fingerprint sensor and has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The device is 8.29mm thick and weighs 198.5 grams.
