Realme 9i is now official in India. The smartphone comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Realme 9i succeeds the Realme 8i. For comparison, Realme 8i offered a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Realme 9i price and availability

Realme 9i is a budget category phone that comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999. Its base model packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Another model packs 6GB RAM and has an internal storage of 128GB. It is priced at Rs 15,999.

The smartphone will go on sale on January 25. It will be available via Flipkart, Realme online store and offline retail stores across the country.

Prism Black and Prism Blue are the colour variants of the smartphone.

Realme 9i is equipped with a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 480 nits. The smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor and runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 operating system.

The device is equipped with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone comes with virtual RAM support for up to 11GB. The internal storage is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

On the camera front, the handset comes with a triple camera setup on the rear side. It has a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture paired with a 2MP macro camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP monochrome lens with f/2.4 aperture.

For selfies, the device has a 16MP camera at the front. Realme 9i is backed by a 5000mAh battery. It offers support for 33-watt fast charging. The device weighs 190 grams and measures 164×75.7×8.4mm.
