PUBG MOBILE: Elon Musk’s Tesla Gigafactory comes to PUBG Mobile with patch 1.5 update – Times of India

Talk about crossovers in video games crossing over from the world of tech that have a fun quotient perhaps only for the tech-obsessed people. In a strange but exciting turn of events, PUBG Mobile has gone beyond promoting movies and roping in footballers and actually made a small change in the geography of the Classic Erangel map. With patch 1.5 of the game, the Tesla Gigafactory comes to the Erangel map in PUBG Mobile, as per a report by Android Police.
It’s not just the addition of a new building to the map. Erangel has got a futuristic tech overhaul with the Gigafactory. Players can also expect new weapons, vehicles, and a revamped Royale Pass system to award players faster.
As per the report, changes have been made to some major areas of the map under Mission Ignition; these changes are theme-specific and as such, center around defence, energy utilisation, transportation/logistics and scientific research. These are Georgopol, Sosnovka Security Center, Tech Center, Energy Center and Logistics Agency.
And what would be the benefit of adding a Gigafactory game-wise? Whenever you arrive at the factory, you would be able to assemble your own car that can drive you on its own to pre-set markers along the highway. Imagine that happening in Battlegrounds Mobile India. Won’t that be something to look forward to? Since the collaboration is already here, wouldn’t Tesla want to promote its cars through one of the most popular battle royale mobile games in the world? It is highly possible.
PUBG recently added Tottenham Hotspur player Son Heung-Min as a playable character in the game. The game added his character as a player skin, with other battle gear.
