Krafton has always been focused on offering best possible anti-cheat measures for its games and the recently launched battle royale title, PUBG: New State is no different. The company is rolling out a new update to implement improved anti-cheat measures in the game.
The update is currently being rolled out to Android devices via Google Play Store and Galaxy Store only. The company has assured in its official blog post that the same update for the iOS version in works and will be rolled out in near future.
In addition to that, the company is also offering compensation rewards for the update. Players updating to the latest version of PUBG: New State will receive three Chicken Medals.
How does the new update affect PUBG: New State players
The new update, as already mentioned, is to strengthen anti-cheat measures aimed at reducing unfair practices in the game. The update will implement new anti-cheat measures that will help Krafton to identify and catch hackers and cheaters in the game. Krafton is also quite famous for banning its players found guilty of cheating or using unfair means to again add advantage.
Why is it important to update the game
The company has also coined the update as ‘Essential Update’ which means it is a mandatory update for Android players. New State players will have to update the game to play the game and in case a player does not update the game, the game will automatically redirect them to Google Play Store or Galaxy Store.
For those unaware, PUBG: New State is the latest battle royale game from Krafton launched on November 11. The game is available on Android, iOS and iPad OS and it is slated as the next-generation of PUBG Mobile. The game, though, is based on the similar concept where 100 players jump into a map and fight for their survival.
