Quasar e-BOL uses the company’s document processing engine that will address the universal need in the freight movement industry. According to an estimate by industry analysts and the Digital LTL Council, 85% of all freight movement management is still handled by non-standard paper BOLs. This not only creates issues with shipment visibility and errors but also restricts the ability to move freight and bill efficiently.
Moreover, the Digital LTL Council has recently announced a definition for industry-wide electronic BOLs (e-BOLs). Digitised BOL solutions are also important for solving multiple issues that prevail in the industry.
