RAEGR launches USB-C hubs RapidLink 1250 and RapidLink 1550

Bengaluru-based consumer lifestyle technology brand RAEGR has announced two new accessories — RapidLink 1250 and RapidLink 1550 — for Apple iPad Pro, MacBooks and Android smartphone users. Of these, RapidLink 1250 is a portable USB Type-C hub that is compatible with Apple iPad Pro, MacBook and Android smartphones. While the RapidLink 1550 can work with MacBook Air and Pro series. The USB-C hubs help extend simultaneous connectivity options for multiple devices such as mice, keyboards, pen drives, flashcards, headphones, monitors and projectors.

Both RapidLink 1250 and 1550 aim to ease any device connectivity issues faced by users. The accessories are aimed at users whose smartphone, iPad, or laptop features just a USB-C port and connecting any device such as a mouse, headphone, pen drive, or monitor is not possible without a dongle. And to simultaneously connect multiple devices to a single USB-C port is not possible without a USB-C hub or dock. Here’s where the new RAEGR accessories can help.

The RAEGR RapidLink 1250 (4-in-1) is built for smartphones, tablets, and laptops that feature USB-C. It comes in a small form factor and attaches to the device directly via USB-C port. As per the company, it is built using an aerospace-grade light-weight aluminum body. It has a USB 3.0 Type-A port that allows users to connect high-speed storage drives, an audio jack for headphones, microphones, and speakers, and an HDMI port for your monitor or projector. It uses a PD 3.0 port so you can keep your device connected to the charger while still using the hub for other units. Additionally, there’s a magnetic silicone pad specially coupled along for the iPad Pro which allows the dock to magnetically attach to the iPad.

The RAEGR RapidLink 1550 (7-in-2) is similar to the 1250. What it offers more are additional ports including dual ThunderBolt 3 USB-C ports for the Apple MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Other ports include USB 3.0 Type-A port for external storage drives, individual slots for micro SD and SD cards, a ThunderBolt 3 port for up to 5K displays, a Power Delivery (PD) port for in-line charging and an HDMI port for up to 4K 60Hz displays and projectors. RapidLink 1550 too is claimed to have been built using an aerospace-grade aluminum body.

Both the RAEGR RapidLink 1250 and RAEGR RapidLink 1550 come with one-year warranty and buyers get an additional 6 months when they register the product. The RAEGR RapidLink 1250 is priced at Rs 3,999 and the RAEGR RapidLink 1550 can be purchased at Rs 4,999. Both the accessories are available on Amazon India’s website.
