Rainbow Six Mobile closed beta test goes live: All details – Times of India

Ubisoft is set to offer one of its most popular online multiplayer games — the Rainbow Six Seige — on mobile devices. The mobile version of the game is named simply ‘Rainbow Six Mobile’ and will follow a similar format and gameplay as its PC and console versions.
In August, the company shared a tweet from Rainbow Six Mobile’s official Twitter account teasing the opening date of the game’s closed beta channels. Ubisoft even allowed Android and iOS users to pre-register for the beta testing and also posted a video showing the pre-beta stage of the upcoming mobile game. Now, the company has shared a new tweet to announce that the closed beta test of the same has gone live

Rainbow Six Mobile closed beta test: Availability
The company has started rolling out the invitations slowly via Google Play Store in the selected Closed Beta regions. Moreover, the closed beta test for Rainbow Six Mobile is exclusive to only Android users for the time being.
Currently, the new mobile game is available only in seven countries, including — USA, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, the Philippines and India. However, the developers have also mentioned that it will increase the frequency and the number of invitations in the coming weeks.

Rainbow Six Mobile closed beta test: Other details
As discussed above, the gameplay of Rainbow Six Mobile is similar to its PC and console counterparts where the tactical shooter game pits two teams of five players against each other. However, unlike the PC and console versions, the mobile game is planned to be a free-to-play title.
Players are expected to find the classic 5v5 Attack vs Defense game mode in the beta test version of Rainbow Six Mobile. This game will also offer multiple operators that will offer unique gadgets for the ‘tactical’ shooting aspect of the game.

Currently, only two game modes will be made available in the beta phase: Bomb mode and Secure Area mode. the test will begin with the Bomb mode and the Secure Area mode will be added in a few days.
