Rapper Snoop Dogg asks whether he should run Twitter, here’s how people voted
In what is perceived as an attempt to mock Musk and his poll wherein the new owner of the company asked whether he should step down as the CEO of the company, rapper Snoop Dogg shared a similar poll asking his 20.8 million followers whether he should run Twitter. The poll, which has now ended, received nearly 3.4 million votes with 81% suggesting he should be at the helm of the company.
Interestingly, Dogg’s poll has the “biggest yes ratio in a twitter poll,” Guinness World Records said in a reply
@SnoopDogg @reddit_AMA biggest yes ratio in a twitter poll ????

In comparison, Musk had polled just over 17.5 million votes, out of which 57.5% votes were for ‘Yes’ suggesting he should step down, while the rest were against.
Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will abide by the results of this poll.

Now that the polling has ended, he has not said anything related to his role. However, he suggests that the bots may have a role in the voting as the number of votes reportedly exceeded the number of likes.
This puts Musk in a tricky situation. If bots have played a role in the polling, then Musk’s claim of Twitter being free of bots stands to be false. Otherwise he will have to leave the post because he said he will “abide by the results of this poll.” We will have to wait for more information on that front.
Twitter poll: A meme game
The development provided enough meme material to all Twitter users. Followers of both Musk and Dogg posted several memes.
