Reader’s Choice award final round!

Robert Triggs / Android Authority

We’re in the home stretch now! There are just two phones left battling it out for your Reader’s Choice Award as the best smartphone of 2022. In one corner, we have the mighty Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. In the other, we have the formidable Google Pixel 7 Pro. Which one will walk away as the true champion?

You’ll need to decide the outcome of this bout by voting. Each phone has its merits and picking between them might be difficult. The Galaxy S22 Ultra offers an incredibly powerful chipset, a built-in stylus, a terrific penta-sensor rear camera, and the best software update promise in the Android world. However, the Pixel 7 Pro offers a smooth-and-simple software experience, the stellar Google camera system, a slew of exclusive Assistant-powered smart features, and a price that’s a whopping $300 cheaper than the S22 Ultra’s.

Although you can’t vote for them, we need to pour one out for the two phones that were eliminated in yesterday’s semi-finals. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro ended up walking away with the third-most votes, which many of our readers probably didn’t expect. The Google Pixel 7 — an incredible device when it comes to value — walked away in fourth place. You can see the results of your votes on Twitter, YouTube, and Android Authority itself.

Now it’s time to cast the final vote!
