Smartphone brand Realme has started rolling out Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 to the Realme 7 phone. The update brings software version RMX2151_11_C.08 to the device. It is 640MB in size and also comes with Android security patch for the month of June.
With the new update, Realme 7 users will get features like more personalisation options and optimised visuals and sounds in the system. It will also bring improvements to the phone’s overall security and privacy. Another important changelog with the Realme UI 2.0 is the one-time app permission.
The update is currently available for beta testers and is expected to be rolled out to other users soon.
Realme 7: Specifications
Realme 7 is equipped with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display. The screen has a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It comes protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on the top.
The handset will come powered by MediaTek Helio HG95 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. It is paired with 64GB/128GB internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card slot.
Realme 7 is a dual SIM phone and comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is backed by a 5,l000mAh battery with 30 watt fast charging support.
To perform camera duties, the handset comes with a quad-rear camera setup at the back. The system comprises a 64MP main sensor with LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 119° Ultra Wide Lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP 4cm macro and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
At the front, the handset has a 16MP camera for selfies.
