Realme 8s Flipkart availability revealed ahead of launch in India

Realme 8s price in India will be revealed soon as the company has started teasing the phone’s launch in the country. The phone is expected to arrive alongside the Realme 8i and Realme Pad, though a launch date is yet to be revealed. Now, the Realme 8s Flipkart availability has been confirmed. The e-commerce website has set up a dedicated microsite for the upcoming Realme phone. While the name of the phone has not been mentioned, the Flipkart teaser reveals a 5G smartphone is coming soon and it is the world’s first to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. We know this to be the Realme 8s.

When will Realme 8s launch in India?

As mentioned earlier, the Realme 8s launch date in India has not been revealed yet. We exclusively revealed yesterday that the Realme 8s and Realme 8i will be announced in September. Since the company has started teasing the launch, we expect the Realme 8s launch event to take place in the first half of September.

Realme 8s design and specifications

In July, we exclusively revealed the Realme 8s design through renders as well as the phone’s specifications. The smartphone will come with triple rear cameras arranged in a rectangular module. The phone will be available in a silver colour option with what looks like a matt finish. Unfortunately, we don’t know what the display looks like, but our bet is on a punch-hole camera. You can expect an LCD display as the phone will feature a physical fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.

Realme 8s specifications include a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset. The phone will come with 6GB and 8GB RAM options along with virtual RAM support. In the camera department, the Realme 8s will feature a 64MP primary camera. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
