According to report by MySmartPrice, Realme 9i has a punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner to house the selfie snapper and a flat-screen. The volume rocker is on the left while the power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded is on the right spine. It has vertical stripes on the back alongside a rectangular camera module to house triple sensors and a LED flash.

Realme 9i is said to sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, a 480nits brightness, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. It is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage that could be expandable. Connectivity options would be 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging.
