Realme 9i with 90Hz refresh rate and 50MP camera may launch in January next year

Realme is expected to launch its Realme 9 number series soon. The series is said to consist of four smartphones- Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9i. In the latest, Realme 9i has reportedly appeared on Chinese e-commerce site AliExpress.
As per the listing, Realme 9i may feature a 6.59-inch LCD screen with full HD+ resolution. The phone may offer a 90Hz refresh rate. For photography, the device may come with a 50MP main camera at the back. This may be paired with the other two sensors.
At the front, the handset may feature a 16MP camera for selfies. The sensor may be placed in a punch-hole camera cutout. The smartphone may pack 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage capacity.
AliExpress listing also suggests that Realme 9i may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor. It may be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 33watt fast charging. For wireless connections, the handset may feature WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm headphone jack along with a USB Type-C charge port. It may also offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Recently, a report suggested that Realme 9 Pro+ may come with a 65-watt fast charging feature. The phone has reportedly been approved by the China Qualification Certification (CQC) platform that reveals the charging feature of the phone. The listing, however, could not reveal the battery capacity of the device. Rumours suggest that Realme 9 Pro+ may come with a 50MP primary camera on the back. It is rumoured to offer a 16MP camera at the front. It is said that the company may bring 4G as well as 5G model of Realme 9 Pro+.
