Realme Book 3C listing listing confirms it will support 65W fast charging

A few days ago, we exclusively reported that the Realme Book would be available in three colour variants, namely Real Red, Real Blue, and Real Apricot. Before that, concept renders of the notebook showed us its design and even shed some light on key Realme Book specifications. As the laptop’s yet-to-be-revealed launch date draws closer, it is beginning to show up on various certification websites. Twitter leaker @StuffListings aka Mukul Sharma has now stumbled upon the laptop on China’s 3C certification website. The Realme Book 3C listing tells us that the laptop will support fast charging at 65W.

The aforementioned renders from earlier told us that the Realme Book would not ship with a barrel pin charging port. Instead, users have to rely exclusively on the included USB Type-C port, of which there are only two. That could be a bit of a problem, as there is only one USB Type-A port on the laptop, meaning that you have to rely on docks to connect more devices. On the positive side of things, one can use a 67W VOOC charger bundled with most mid-range Realme phones to charge their Realme Book, too.

There might be another way to charge the Realme Book. Tipster Mukul Sharma shared on Wednesday that Realme’s new MagDart magnetic wireless charging solution would also be applied on laptops, tablets, and more products, in addition to smartphones. This suggests the Realme Book could support wireless charging through MagDart.

Little is known about the Realme Book specs at this point. Rumour has it that it could ship with 11th-generation Intel Tiger Lake processors and a 3:2 screen. It is clear that Realme wants to mimic the MacBook Air, as is made apparent by the Realme Book’s silvery finish and thin form factor. Realme also said that the notebook would be eligible for the Windows 11 update.
