realme book enhanced edition: Realme Book Enhanced Edition may launch globally in April: Reports – Times of India

Realme may launch a new laptop in April. The China-based smartphone company launched the Realme Book Enhanced Edition in China in January 2022. Now, it is planning to launch the same device globally. GSMArena reports that the upcoming laptop might be released with the name Realme Book Prime globally. The company entered the laptop market in 2021 with the Realme Book (Realme Book Slim in India).
Realme Book Enhanced Edition price and availability (China version)
As we have discussed earlier, the Realme Book Enhanced Edition is currently available only in China at a price of CNY 4,700 (roughly around Rs 55,000). It is available in a single version that is powered by an Intel i5 processor, packs 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It is available in its domestic market in two colours — green and grey.
Realme Book Prime expected specifications
Realme Book Enhanced Edition is expected to be launched globally as the Realme Book Prime. As the name suggests, it will be an upgrade over its predecessor the Realme Book, which was launched as Realme Book Slim in India. Reports suggest that the Realme Book Prime is expected to be powered by an 11th-gen Intel i5 processor. It is also expected to have an improved dual-fan cooling system for better heat dissipation.
Realme Book Enhanced Edition specifications (China version)
Realme Book Enhanced Edition sports a 14-inch IPS display that claims to offer 2K resolution. This laptop comes with dual Harman speakers that support DTS audio technology. It packs dual microphones that claim to use AI-backed noise-reducing algorithms and a webcam that claims to support 720p HD video calls.
As mentioned earlier, Realme Book Enhanced Edition is powered by an 11th-gen Intel i5 processor, coupled with Intel Sharp X graphics. This device is backed with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. This laptop also has a two-in-one fingerprint-power button and a backlit keyboard. It packs a 54Whr (watt hour) battery that claims to support 65W Super Fast Charge.
