Realme Book Slim PC Connect feature teased ahead of India launch: what is it? | 91mobiles.com
Realme Book Slim is set to launch in India on August 18th at 12:30 PM IST alongside the Realme GT and GT Master Edition phones. It is said to be the slimmest notebook in the segment. Now, ahead of next week’s launch, the company has teased the upcoming laptop will have a smartphone connect feature, similar to Microsoft Your Phone and should allow users to control their smartphone directly from the laptop and share files. The teaser image showcases the Realme GT Master Phone and Realme Book Slim. The latter has slim bezels around the display, with the Realme logo below the screen. The PC-smartphone control feature could be called ‘PC Connect’. The software could use Wi-Fi direct, meaning both the devices should be connected to the same network.

Realme Book specifications
The Realme Book is said to sport a 14-inch display with 2K (2160X 1440 pixels resolution), a 3:2 aspect ratio, 300nits brightness and a 100 percent sRGB colour gamut. The laptop is said to be powered by the 11th generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor paired with Intel Xe graphics, 16GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. Ports onboard include a USB 3.2 Gen 1, 2x USB C 3.1 ports, 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint sensor. The laptop is said to pack a 54Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
The promotional image showed the laptop will have a webcam on the top bezel, a large trackpad that should support Microsoft gestures, and an aluminium body with a silver colour option.
