Realme C3 starts receiving Android 11 update in India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme has started rolling out Android 11 update for its budget smartphone — Realme C3 in India. The company launched the Realme C3 last year. The smartphone came with Android 10 out-of-the-box and has now started receiving Android 11 update.
Along with Android 11, the update also brings new features, bug fixes and improved privacy settings. The update comes with firmware version RMX2020_11_A.63. It is a staged roll out and randomly pushed out to a limited number of people. The company will start the full roll out if no critical bugs are reported. The company also advises the users to charge the smartphone completely and also backup their data before downloading the update.
After the Android 11 update, Realme C3 users will be able to experience features like default screen recorder, better media controller, native smart home control, one-time permission to apps, security fixes via Google Play and others.

• Three Dark mode styles are available: Enhanced, medium, and gentle; wallpapers and icons can be adjusted to Dark mode; and the display contrast can be adjusted automatically to ambient light.

• You can now remove a folder or combine it with another one.

• You can now turn “App lock” on or off in Quick Settings.
• Added “Low battery message”: When your phone battery is lower than 15%, you can quickly send a message to share your location with specific people.

• You can share your personal hotspot with others via a QR code.
HeyTap Cloud
• You can back up your photos, documents, system settings, WeChat data, and more, and easily migrate to a new phone.
