Realme GT 2 and Narzo 50 series to launch in India soon, confirms company

NEW DELHI: Relame has recently confirmed that it will launch the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ smartphones in India on February 16. Now ahead of this launch, the company has revealed its upcoming smartphone launches for the Indian market.

Realme VP Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will soon launch the Realme GT 2 and the Realm Narzo 50 series in the country. Sheth revealed this information during the latest episode of #AskMadhav. However, Sheth has not yet revealed any specific launch timeline for the smartphones. Realme has already launched the Realme GT 2 series globally. It is expected that the company may launch the same variant in India as well.

Realme GT 2 series
The company launched the Realme GT 2 series in China last year. The series consist of two smartphones — Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to be designed with bio-based materials. As per the company, the back cover on the smartphone uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and it features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 3216×1440 pixels resolution. Realme GT 2 Pro gets a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

On the other hand, Realme GT 2 sports a 6.62-inch OLED display with full HD+resolution and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. When it comes to cameras, the Realme GT 2 gets a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
