Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition receives 3C certification, July launch seems imminent – Times of India

The Chinese certification body 3C has recently approved a new 100W charger that comes with the model number VCBAJACH. Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition was also recently certified by the TENAA authority with the model number RMX3551. According to a report by GizmoChina, 3C has approved the same charger for the upcoming smartphone which is expected to launch in July for its domestic market. Apart from these certifications, Realme’s China President Xu Qi has also recently indicated that the company will release the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition next month on Weibo.
Moreover, as the predecessor of the device Realme GT Master Editon was also released in July last year, the company might release the upcoming handset during the same timeline this year. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will become the Chinese phone maker’s first handset to offer 100W fast charging support. However, it is important to note that the company has already released the Realme GT Neo 3 smartphone in China, which comes powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset and offers 150W fast charging support.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition expected price and availability
The Realme GT Master Edition is available in India at Rs 25,999. However, the smartphone’s successor may carry a price tag of 3,500 CNY (roughly around Rs 40,800) in China. There is no information available about the upcoming device’s arrival in India and might initially launch only for its domestic market.
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition expected specs
Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to sport a 6.7-inch full HD+ AMOLED display that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is likely to come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, backed with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The upcoming device might house a triple rear camera setup which will include — two 50MP sensors and a 2MP lens. The handset is likely to boot Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 and is expected to compete with the Xiaomi 12 Ultra which is also rumoured to launch spoon
