Realme GT 2 Pro announcement set for December 9th, same day as Moto Edge X30 launch | 91mobiles.com
Realme GT 2 Pro to be announced on December 9th
Almost all the leading smartphone manufacturers have started teasing the arrival of their next-gen flagships powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. As a matter of fact, Motorola appears to be winning the race with its Moto Edge X30, which is set for launch on December 9th in China. It, therefore, makes complete sense for Realme to make some sort of announcement related to the Realme GT 2 Pro (just to steal some of the limelight from Motorola). Now, the poster that you can see above does not explicitly tell us as to whether the brand will make just an announcement regarding the launch date of the Realme GT 2 Pro on December 9th or will it straight up launch the phone on the said date. In either of the cases, anyway, we’d get to know something official about the device.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
As far as specifications are concerned, we have already exclusively leaked the first look of the Realme GT 2 Pro. The device will feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which will be clubbed with 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage (UFS3.1). The device is expected to boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 skin out of the box. At the front, the device will make room for a 32MP selfie snapper and at the back, there’d be a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
