Realme is gearing up to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone, Realme GT 2 Pro on January 4. Ahead of the launch, the company’s official account on Weibo has shared a teaser poster that indicates partnership with popular anime series Dragon Ball Z. The poster teases “realme X Dragon Ball Z” tie-up along with date January 4, hinting that the company is planning to launch a special edition Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone.

Apart from the poster, the company has also shared a short video teasing the Realme GT 2 Pro Dragon Ball Z special edition smartphone. As of now, there are no details about how the special edition device will look like, but with the partnership the company has raised the anticipation for the upcoming flagship.

The brand has already confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Key specs of the device have already been leaked in various leaks and rumours.

Realme GT 2 Pro rumoured specifications

Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone is rumoured to sport a 6.7-inch display with Quad HD+ resolution. The display is said to have a refresh rate of 120Hz and an in-buit fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is rumoured to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

When it comes to camera, the device is said to feature a 50MP + 50MP + 2MP triple real camera setup. The company claims that the Realme GT 2 Pro is the first smartphone to offer a 150-degrees ultra-wide camera, which expands the phone’s field of view by 278% compared to the main camera’s 84-degrees field. The company has also developed the world’s first fisheye mode for smartphones on the device to provide an ultra-long depth of field effect. For video calls and selfies, the device is rumoured to have a 32MP camera at the front.
