Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone receives BIS certification, expected to launch in India soon

LTPO panel NEW DELHI: Relame recently launched its first high-end smartphone Realme GT 2 Pro in China. Now, the smartphone is expected to launch in India soon. Realme GT 2 Pro recently received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) this hints that the smartphone will soon launch in India. This is the first Realme smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
The smartphone is said to be priced under Rs 57,000 and the smartphone comes in Paper Green, Paper White, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue colour options. The Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone to be designed with bio-based materials. As per the company, the back cover on the smartphone uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
Realme GT 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch OLED display with 3216×1440 pixels resolution. The company has used an LTPO panel on the smartphone and it comes with 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The flagship smartphone comes in four RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. The dual SIM smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with company’s own layer of UI.
For imaging duties, the Realme GT 2 Pro gets a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
