Realme GT 2 Pro with flagship Qualcomm chipset launched in India: Price, specs and offers – Times of India

After being teased on various social media platforms for a while, Realme GT 2 Pro is finally here. Realme has launched its flagship smartphone of 2022, Realme GT 2 Pro in India today. The lineup is successor to the Realme GT series that was launched in India last year. Although the device was launched globally last month at the Mobile World Congress 2022, it was already available in China. Realme GT 2 Pro is also among one of the first smartphones running on the flagship Qualcomm processor.
Realme GT 2 Pro price and availability
Realme GT 2 Pro will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The 8GB variant is priced at Rs 49,999 and the 12GB variant is priced at Rs 57,999. The smartphone will be available in three colour options — Paper White, Paper Green and Steel Black. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart April 14 onwards.
As an introductory offer, buyers will be able to get flat Rs 5,000 instant discount on HDFC Bank and SBI bank cards and EMI transactions.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone that is designed with bio-based materials. The back of the smartphones uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED display with 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution. The display uses an LTPO panel and gets variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. It comes with a peak brightness of 1400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the top.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
When it comes to cameras, the Realme GT 2 Pro gets a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
