Realme GT 5G Master Edition may be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Realme is expected to launch a new Master Edition of its Realme GT 5G smartphone. As per various online leaks, the company is expected to launch the Realme GT 5G Master Edition smartphone on July 21.
It is expected that Realme will launch the Master Edition, Explore Master Edition and the vanilla variant of the same device at the launch event. Now, OnLeaks has shared an image of the Explorer Master Edition of Realme GT 5G smartphone.
According to the leak, the Realme GT 5G Explorer is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
On the other hand, Realme has confirmed that the GT Master Edition will sport a 50MP main camera which will support OIS + ESI Dual Image Stabilisation. The company also mentioned that it is Realme’s first optical image stabilisation lens which increases the sensitivity by 63.8%.
Realme has also confirmed that the smartphone will pack 12GB of RAM and 7GB of additional virtual RAM.
Realme GT 5G Master Edition expected specifications
Realme GT 5G Master Edition is said to come with a 6.55-inh Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate and is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Realme GT 5G Master Edition is said to pack 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone is said to run Android 11 operating system topped with Realme’s own UI. The dual SIM smartphone is expected to come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.
Realme GT 5G Master Edition is said to be backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 64W fast charging support.
Realme India has already confirmed that the smartphone will launch in India by the end of Q3 2021.
