Realme GT 5G: Realme GT Explorer Master Edition to be powered by Snapdragon 870 – Times of India

Realme is gearing up to launch its GT Master Edition series on July 21 in China. As per some reports, there will be two phones in the lineup: The GT Master Edition and the GT Explorer Master Edition. The Explorer edition will come powered with the Snapdragon 870 SoC, which has been confirmed by the company itself in an image, claims a report by GizChina. The report also takes the claims of OnLeaks in view regarding the two Realme phones that have popped up on the TENAA certification database.
As per the report, the two models bear the model numbers RMX3366 and RMX3361, out of which RMX3366 will be the GT Explorer Master Edition while the RMX3361 will be the GT Master Edition, as claimed by OnLeaks.
The RMX3366’s TENAA listing reveals that it is equipped with a 3.2GHz octa-core processor which was claimed to be the Snapdragon 870, as per multiple leaks, which has been confirmed by Realme. The image shared by the company shows the dual-curved edge display of the phone with a punch-hole design.

The RMX3366 on TENAA is listed to have a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 50MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. The phone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W charging support.
Realme GT Master Edition
The other model, the RMX336, is rumoured to come with the Snapdragon 778G chipset. If the rumour turns out to be true, it would become the first Realme phone to come with the 778G chipset. The Realme RMX3361 on TENAA is listed to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 64MP triple rear camera setup, a 32MP selfie shooter and a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
