Realme GT 5G with Snapdragon 888 processor, Realme GT 5G Master Edition to launch in India on August 18: Details inside – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme GT 5G, the company’s most powerful smartphone is all set to launch in India. Calling it a ‘Flagship Killer 2021’, Realme India has confirmed that it will launch the Realme GT 5G and the Realme GT 5G Master Edition in the country on August 18. The company has also confirmed that the smartphones will be available online on Flipkart.com. The e-tailer has also created a dedicated webpage for the launch which talks about the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
Realme India has started sending out official invites for the launch event. As mentioned above the company has scheduled a virtual launch event for August 18, where it will launch the smartphones. The launch event will begin at 12.30 pm and the users can live stream it on the company’s official YouTube and Facebook accounts.

Realme has already launched the Realme GT 5G smartphone globally last month. Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth has already confirmed that it will launch the same variant in India without any changes. Talking about the pricing, Sheth said that Realme GT 5G is a flagship smartphone so it will be priced above Rs 30,000 due to its specs and build quality.
Realme GT 5G specifications
Realme GT 5G comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
The premium smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Realme GT 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0.
The flagship smartphone from Realme features a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, Sony IMX682 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The sports car-inspired smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Dart charging support.
