Realme GT Neo 5 series receives TENAA certification: Here’s what to expect

Chinese smartphone maker Realme is set to unveil its next-gen smartphone for its domestic market. The company has confirmed its plans to launch Realme GT Neo 5 on its home turf. Recently, Realme introduced its 240W fast charging technology and confirmed to unveil the GT Neo5 series in February in China. The smartphone has been spotted in various databases, including the 3C certification website.
According to recent reports by Gizmochina, Realme GT Neo 5’s two battery variations, bearing model numbers RMX706 and RMX3708, were certified by the Chinese TENAA agency prior to its February launch.
Earlier, TENAA listings had only made their images public. Now, both listings have revealed some key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The recent listing has revealed that the RMX3706 is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery unit with 150W fast charging support and the RMX3708 model is likely to pack a 4600mAh battery that may support 240W of fast charging.

Realme GT Neo 5: Expected features and specifications
The Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone is said to feature a 6.7-inch 144Hz AMOLED display that might offer a resolution of up to 2772×1240 pixels. The smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that might come paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. In addition to this, it could run the Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 operating system.
For photography, the Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to come equipped with a triple rear camera setup that might comprise of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro shooter with an LED flash. On the front, it could house a 16MP front-facing unit for selfies and video calls.
The Realme GT Neo 5 smartphone is rumoured to come in two battery variants of 5000mAh and 4600mAh battery unit with 150W and 240W SuperVOOC fast charging support, respectively.
