According to a post on Weibo, Chase Xu, Realme chief marketing officer, has confirmed the arrival of Realme GT Neo 5. The smartphone will be launched in China in February. Realme GT Neo 5 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to come in two variants. The Realme GT Neo 5 with a 5000mAh battery is said to come with 150W fast charging support, whereas the one with a 4600mAh battery is said to support 240W fast charging support.
The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to house a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support. The upcoming Realme smartphone may house a triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The smartphone is expected to come with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. The smartphone may run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI.
