Realme GT Neo launch teased for India, will be powered by Snapdragon 870 – Times of India

Realme GT Neo is coming soon to the Indian market. The company has started teasing the upcoming phone online on its social media platforms. It has also created a microsite of the phone on Realme.com. While the launch date of the Realme GT Neo is not official yet, the teaser page reveals that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870.
Another feature revealed by Realme is the presence of a 120Hz E4 AMOLED screen on Realme GT Neo with a 600Hz touch sampling rate. The handset will come with 5G connectivity.
For those unaware, Realme launched GT Neo 2 smartphone in China earlier this year. It is likely that the upcoming phone in India may come with similar features.
Realme GT Neo 2 is a mid-range phone offered in three different variants in China. The phone’s base model packs 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and is priced at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 29,000). Other models come with 8GB RAM+ 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM+256GB ROM. They are priced at CNY 2,699 and CNY 2,999, respectively.
Meanwhile, the company has announced to roll out a stable update of Android 12 for the Realme GT series soon. The company said that Realme GT series smartphone users will be able to log into the Realme official community to apply for the update. It said that it will also release the Realme UI 3.0 globally. This means that the Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition and Realme GT Explorer Edition will be the first Realme phones to receive Android 12 update. The update will eventually be rolled out to other Realme smartphones as well.
