Madhav Seth shared a tweet teasing the GT Neo2 launch in India. Francis Wong, CMO, Realme India, and Europe, also shared a picture of the retail packaging of GT Neo2 and Buds Air 2, which would be coming to India and Europe. The box can be seen in the neon green colour, suggesting that Realme would be bringing the Mint Green colour of GT Neo2 in India and Europe.
Unlike the last time, the Realme GT Neo2 won’t be getting a new branding for India. To recall, the Realme GT Neo was launched in India as Realme X7 Max. But, now the X series is replaced by the GT. So, the Realme GT Neo2 will come with the same moniker to India and Europe.
Realme GT Neo2 specifications
Realme GT Neo2 features a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 600Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 1300 nits, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, expandable further via a microSD card. It boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging. The smartphone runs Realme UI 2.0 on top of Android 11.
The GT Neo2 comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 120-degree FoV, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 16MP camera on the front housed inside the punch-hole cutout. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C.
Realme GT Neo2 price in India (expected)
The Realme GT Neo2 retails for RMB 2,499 (around Rs 28,500) for the 8GB+128GB storage variant in China. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants are priced at RMB 2,699 (around Rs 30,700) and RMB 2,999 (approx Rs 34,200), respectively. We expect the Realme GT Neo2 india price to be around Rs 30,000.
