Realme GT, Realme GT Master Edition to launch in India tomorrow: Here’s how much they could cost | Digit

Realme is all set to launch its latest smartphones, the Realme GT and the Realme GT Master Edition in India tomorrow. Of the two, the Realme GT is expected to be the more powerful one as it will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC underneath the hood. Ahead of the launch, there have been a few hints already about the pricing of the two phones. 

A new tweet by Realme’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, hints that the company could be all set to launch the Realme GT at a price point that will make it the most affordable Snapdragon 888 phone in India. Currently, that title is held by the Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro, which is priced at Rs 29,999. 

 

 

As for the Realme GT Master Edition, a leak by tipster, Yogesh, claims the phone will be offered in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage options. Additionally, he claims that the phone will be available in three colours — Cosmos Black, Luna White, and Voyager Grey. The price of the phone according to the tipster will start at Rs 25,999 and Rs. 27,999 respectively.

Realme GT, Master Edition: Expected specs

The Realme GT 5G could bring a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel with support for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. We should also be seeing the Snapdragon 888 5G chip at work along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The Realme GT 5G will also pack a 4,500mAh battery inside with support for up to 65W fast-charging. The phone will offer Dual-5G mode, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port for charging. Realme GT 5G will also have a triple-camera setup at the back whereas, on the front, it’ll house a 16MP selfie camera. Apart from the two GT phones, Realme will also be launching its first laptop in India on August 18.
