Realme Pad Mini launching in the Philippines soon, key specifications revealed

Realme Pad was the company’s first-ever tablet device and is placed in the budget segment. The tablet received good reviews, thanks to its large battery, display, and immersive sound experience. It appears the company is gearing up to introduce a mini version of the tablet soon. Realme Philippines has officially teased the Realme Pad Mini and some of the key specifications have been revealed. However, the exact launch date of the tablet hasn’t been revealed by the company just yet. We can speculate it will arrive in India as well but only after it first debuts in the Philippines, according to the teaser poster.

Realme Pad Mini

The design of the tablet matches the earlier leaked renders. It has a single rear camera on the back. The Realme Pad mini is said to sport an 8.7-inch display with a 1,340×800 pixels resolution. It will measure 7.6mm in thickness and weigh around 372 grams and pack a 6,400mAh battery. That’s pretty much everything that is revealed about the tablet at the moment but some specifications have been leaked online. This comes after the tablet had received BIS and NBTC certifications.

The Realme Pad Mini is said to be powered by the Unisoc T616 chipset and comes in two models: 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB internal storage that could be further expandable. Both models are expected to come with LTE support. The decent 6,400mAh battery capacity may support 18W fast charging. However, the camera details are under wraps. The poster image shows the tablet will have an aluminium body and may arrive in Grey and Blue colour options. That’s pretty much everything we know about the tablet at the moment.

Realme Pad specifications

In comparison, the original Realme Pad has a large 10.4-inch WUXGA+ display with a 2,000×1,200 pixel resolution and an 82.5 percent screen-to-body ratio. It is even slimmer at 6.9mm and weighs 440 grams. This is despite packing a slightly larger 7,100mAh battery paired with 18W fast charging. There is support for Hi-Res audio and Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio experience. It runs on Android 11 based Realme UI for tablets. The tablet was powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The tablet is offered in Wi-Fi only and 4G + Wi-Fi variants.
