realme: Realme 9i affordable smartphone goes on sale in India: Price, specs and offers

Realme recently launched the Realme 9i affordable smartphone in India. The device is not going on sale today (January 25) via Flipkart, Realme online store and offline retail stores across the country. The smartphone comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999. Its base model packs 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Another variant packs 6GB RAM and has an internal storage of 128GB. It is priced at Rs 15,999. Flipkart is offering 5% unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card.

The smartphone is available in two colour options – Prism Black and Prism Blue. Realme 9i features a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPD LCD display. The display gets a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is the successor to the Realme 8i that was launched last year. It is worth noting that Realme 8i features a display with 120Hz refresh rate.

Realme 9i comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 480 nits. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core chipset and it runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 operating system out of the box. The device is equipped with up to 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The phone comes with virtual RAM support for up to 11GB. The internal storage is expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.

When it comes to camera, the handset comes with a triple camera setup at the rear that consists of a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture paired with a 2MP macro camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP monochrome lens with f/2.4 aperture.

For selfies, the device has a 16MP camera at the front. Realme 9i is backed by a 5000mAh battery. It offers support for 33-watt fast charging. The device weighs 190 grams and measures 164×75.7×8.4mm.
