realme: Realme could have roped in Kodak for its next flagship phone

Relame may have planned a collaboration with camera brand Kodak for its GT Master Edition smartphone, claims leaker Bald Panda. That the company was working with a photography brand for the GT Master Edition was earlier claimed by Digital Chat Station too, only that it didn’t say which brand it was. Rumours of a GT Master Edition phone being developed were hinted at last week by Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase on Weibo where he posted an image in which the name of the phone from which the shot was taken was blurred out.
Kodak is known as the camera maker but the brand also forayed into smartphone making with the IM5 and then another phone called Ektra. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2012. It has since been working on its printing solutions.
Leaker IceUniverse has some information regarding the specs of the Realme GT 5G Master Edition. The smartphone is tipped to come with a 108MP rear camera sensor. As per the claims, the phone will feature a 6.5-inch 90Hz refresh rate display and come powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Apart from the 108MP primary rear camera sensor, the phone is rumoured to come with a 13MP sensor and a 2MP sensor. The battery would be a 4500mAh one with 65W fast charging. However, as compared to a previous leak, IceUniverse’s claims regarding the camera specs of the phone are totally different. As per the previous leak, the Master Edition would sport a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP Sony IMX481 sensor and a 2MP sensor.
