realme: Realme GT Neo 2 with Snapdragon 870 to launch in India next month – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme is all set to launch another mid-range smartphone in India. The company recently launched the budget Realme Nazro 50A smartphone in the country and it’s now gearing up for another launch. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Realme Neo GT2 smartphone in the country in October.
Realme India CEO, Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to make this announcement. Sheth tweeted, “We heard your voices #realmeFans. Stay tuned for #realmeGENEO2 in October!”

Apart from India, the company is also expected to launch the smartphone in other markets as well. Realme will confirm the actual launch date of the smartphone in the coming weeks.
This is the same smartphone that the company launched in China recently. Realme is expected to launch the same variant in India as well.
Realme GT Neo 2 specifications
Realme GT Neo2 comes with a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass and offers 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. The company also offers 7GB of virtual RAM with the smartphone.
The handset comes in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB. Realme GT Neo2 runs the Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI 2.0.
The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery. Realme GT Neo2 comes with 65W fast charging support. The company claims that the smartphone can charge from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes.
