Realme to introduce world’s fastest smartphone charging technology at MWC 2022 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme has already confirmed that it will launch its high-end Realme GT 2 series of smartphones later this month at MWC 2022. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker has revealed that it will introduce the world’s fastest smartphone charging technology at the same event.
The company will unveil the new smartphone charging technology and the Realme GT 2 smartphone series on February 28. Sharing the official invite, the company said, “How fast do you think we can charge? With Realme UDCA, we aim to reach greater heights!”
For those unaware, Realme X50 Pro was the first smartphone of the company to come with 65W flash charging support in 2022. Then in 2021, the company introduced 125W flash charge. Along with this, Realme also introduced 50W magnetic wireless flash charge technology last year. Various online leaks suggest that Realme is working on 150W Super flash charge technology. Another online rumour suggests that the company may also introduce 200W (20V-10A) fast charging at the MWC.
Meanwhile, Realme has announced its new smartphone launch in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Realme Narzo 50 smartphone in India on February 24. The launch event will begin at 12.30pm on February 24 and it will be live streamed on the company’s official YouTube channel.
Realme Narzo 50 is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to feature a 6.6-inch full HD+ display and is expected to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
