Realme X9, Realme X9 Pro may come powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778, Snapdragon 870 SoC – Times of India

BBK-owned smartphone brand Realme is soon set to launch a new smartphone series, called Realme X9, claim online reports.
As per the reports, the company is set to launch two handsets in this series — Realme X9 and Realme X9 Pro. These are said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoC and the Snapdragon 870 SoC, respectively.
For prospective, the Realme X9 series will be the successor to the Realme X7 series. The Realme X7 series was launched in China first in September 2020 and then came to India in February 2021. Similarly, the Realme X9 series it’s also first likely to be launched in the company’s home country and then later on come to India.
A recent report from China suggests that a Realme handset bearing a model number RMX3366 has been spotted on China’s regulatory authority TENAAA’s website.
According to the report, this is the model number for the Realme X9 Pro smartphone. This handset is likely to offer a 6.55-inch full HD+ OLED curved display with 120Hz refresh rate. Rumoured to be backed by a dual battery setup of 4400mAh or 4500mAh, the Realme X9 Pro is expected to run Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Meanwhile, in India, Realme recently launched Realme X7 Max 5G and Realme Smart 4K.
The Realme X7 Max 5G is the flagship smartphone from the company and is priced at Rs 27,999 onwards. Specs wise, it offers 6.43-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G chipset, 4500mAh battery and triple rear camera of 64MP+8MP+2MP.
As for the TV, the Realme Smart 4K TV offers Dolby Atmos Audio, Dolby Vision and can be purchased at Rs 27,999 onwards. In terms of remaining specs, the Realme Smart 4K TV runs on Android TV (Android 10) and comes with certain pre-loaded apps. In terms of connectivity, the Realme Smart TV 4K includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v.5.0, Infrared (IR), two HDMI ports, two USB ports, an HDMI ARC port, and a LAN (Ethernet) port.
