Red Magic 8 Pro: Expected specs
The TENAA listing (spotted by GizmoChina) reveals that the Red Magic 8 Pro is expected to sport a 6.8-inch OLED display that may support a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels. The listing on the certification platform also claims that the upcoming gaming phone will offer a full-screen experience as it won’t include a punch-hole for the selfie camera.
As confirmed earlier, the Red Magic 8 Pro will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The company is expected to offer the device in three different RAM and storage variants — 8GB / 12 GB / 16GB RAM and 256GB / 512GB / 1TB of storage. This new smartphone is rumoured to include LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage to offer an improved gaming experience.
For optics, the device may house a triple rear camera setup that may include — a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro/depth sensor. Red Magic 8 Pro is also expected to feature an 8MP under-display camera for selfies.
Meanwhile, the smartphone is likely to arrive in two different battery variants — 5000mAh and 6000mAh battery options. As per the 3C listing, Red Magic 8 Pro will support up to 165W fast charging. The device is likely to run Red Magic UI based on Android 13 OS out-of-the-box.
