The launch event will live-stream on Redmi India’s official YouTube account. Xiaomi teased the smartphone during the Redmi Note 11 Pro series that launched in India recently. The company later confirmed the release date through social media posts. The company’s tag line for the Redmi 10 smartphone says that the phone will “unlock” — a new camera era, blockbuster display, big battery and the power of Snapdragon. Redmi 10 smartphone will further expand the company’s affordable range. Reports suggest the new handset could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 10C, which was recently launched in Nigeria.

The Redmi 10 smartphone is rumoured to be available in different RAM variants and may carry a price tag of around Rs 10,000. The smartphone might be available on the company’s official website, e-commerce site Flipkart and other select retail stores.

The poster about the upcoming smartphone that Redmi revealed shows a device with thin bezels and a waterdrop notch on top of the display. Rumours suggest that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor.
The handset may sport a dual-camera setup — a 50MP main camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a fingerprint scanner at the back. The company might skip the wide-angle sensor on this phone. The camera block will also include the LED flash. The phone is also expected to run MIUI 13 based on Android 11.
