Redmi 10A and Redmi 10C
The Redmi 10A and 10C will be spiritual successors to the Redmi 9A and 9C. Redmi had launched the 9A in India in 2020, but the 9C variant never made it to the country. Both new Redmi 10 series phones will be equipped with a MediaTek processor, according to the folks over at Xiaomiui. The phones will also feature a triple rear camera setup, which would consist of a primary 50-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Again, these are not confirmed specifications, so we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
The Redmi 10A will be launched in China, India, and globally with the codenames ‘thunder’ and ‘light’. On the other hand, the Redmi 10C will also make its way to the Indian market and will carry the codenames ‘fog’, ‘rain’, and ‘wind’. There will be very few differences between the Redmi 10A and 10C, according to the report. The codenames most likely refer to the different RAM+storage variants of the devices.
As for pricing, the Redmi 10A and 10C are expected to be priced below USD 200. In India, these devices could be sold for around Rs 12,000, or even lower. This should make them a great deal, especially with the 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup. Not much else is known about these devices at the moment. However, we should learn more in the coming weeks, as the Redmi 10A and 10C are expected to launch in the next few months.
