Redmi 10A spotted online, key specifications revealed

Redmi 10A has appeared on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. The smartphone will succeed last year’s Redmi 9A – an entry-level phone under Redmi 9 series. Redmi 10A was spotted on the FCC website with model number 220233L2G. The handset has also appeared on the Geekbench listing website earlier.

As per the phone’s benchmark listing, the smartphone may come powered by MediaTek Helio G25 chipset. Redmi 10A has also appeared in the database of IMEI which revealed that the phone may have four storage models. These could be 2GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, 3GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Redmi 10A is rumoured to run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 operating system. The handset will also be equipped with a fingerprint scanner. The device will be equipped with a 13MP+2MP dual rear camera at the back. To compare, Redmi 9A has a single 13MP camera on the rear.

Redmi 10A is expected to debut in February this year.

Redmi 9A: Specifications

The Redmi 9A comes with a 6.53-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 octa-core processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM.

Redmi 9A comes with 32GB internal storage which can be expanded further by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 11. The handset sports a single-lens 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 lens. The front is home to a 5MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
