Redmi 11 Prime 5G launch in India tipped to take place in September: What to expect | Digit

Redmi 11 Prime’s India launch could reportedly happen in early September. It is expected to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11E 5G. Let’s see what else we could expect from the Redmi budget phone.

Redmi could be launching a new entry-grade smartphone in the country. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is being reported to be that phone and is apparently on its way to India in early September. The report comes from 91Mobiles (via tipster Yogesh Brar). It is also being claimed that this will be a rebadged Redmi Note 11E 5G. So, let’s now see what we can expect from this budget entrant.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G Specs and Features (Expected)

Mr. Brar says Redmi 11 Prime could bear the same MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC as the Chinese Redmi Note 11E 5G.

If the phone is indeed a rebranded model, it could come with a 6.58-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The front camera could be a 5MP one, while the back cameras could consist of a 50MP shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.

The innards, besides the chipset, could include a 5000mAh battery (with 18W charging support), LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS.

Now, that 5G is right around the corner, it is good that this seems to be 5G proof too.

However, nothing can be said for certain until the brand comes forward with official details about the phone.
