Redmi A1+ is set to launch in India today. The Xiaomi sub-brand announced the same via a tweet.

Redmi A1+ is expected to arrive with a leather texture finish on the rear panel along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is rumoured to pack a 5000mAh battery and run Android 12 out-of-the-box.
The upcoming Redmi handset is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is said to have a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

The smartphone is likely to sport a dual rear camera setup with 8MP as the primary sensor. The front could be home to a 5MP selfie shooter.
As per the teaser image released via Redmi India, the phone may arrive in Black, Blue and White/ Silver colour variants.
The smartphone is said to succeed Redmi A1 launched in September this year.

Redmi A1 was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 6,499 for the single 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. The handset sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display panel. Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G22 chipset and runs stock Android 12.
The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include– 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0 as well as GPS+GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and speakers.
